Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Habit Track is designed to help you build habits, stay consistent and understand your progress while keeping your personal information private.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Habit Track ("Habit Track", "we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use the Habit Track mobile application.

We believe that a habit tracker should not require unnecessary personal information. Habit Track is therefore designed to minimize data collection and keep your habit-related information on your device whenever possible.

Privacy by design

Habit Track does not sell your habit history, progress information or personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

2. Information You Add to Habit Track

When using Habit Track, you may choose to enter information such as:

  • habit names;
  • habit icons or emojis;
  • habit schedules and selected weekdays;
  • completion status;
  • quantities or progress values;
  • workout or activity entries that you manually add;
  • streak and completion information;
  • reminder preferences;
  • other habit-related preferences and settings.

This information is used to provide the core functionality of Habit Track.

3. Local Data Storage

Habit-related information is designed to be stored locally on your device unless a feature explicitly states otherwise.

Habit Track does not require you to create an account in order to use its core habit-tracking functionality.

Data stored locally remains under the control of your device and the operating system.

If you delete Habit Track, locally stored information may also be deleted depending on your device, operating system and backup configuration.

4. Personal Information

Habit Track does not intentionally require you to provide personal information such as:

  • your full legal name;
  • home address;
  • phone number;
  • precise geographic location;
  • contacts;
  • personal photos;
  • bank account information;
  • credit or debit card information;
  • medical records.

5. Notifications and Reminders

Habit Track may request permission to send notifications so that the App can provide habit reminders.

Notification permission is optional.

You can enable or disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

Habit Track uses notification permission only for application functionality such as reminders and relevant habit notifications.

6. Purchases and Subscriptions

Habit Track may offer optional premium functionality through in-app purchases or automatically renewing subscriptions.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple.

Habit Track does not directly receive or store your complete credit card, debit card or other payment card information.

Limited technical information associated with a purchase may be processed where necessary to provide premium functionality.

This may include information such as:

  • product identifiers;
  • subscription status;
  • transaction status;
  • purchase entitlement information;
  • information necessary to restore purchases.

7. Third-Party Services

Habit Track may use limited third-party services necessary to provide application functionality.

These services may include Apple's App Store infrastructure and services used to manage premium purchase or subscription entitlements.

Third-party providers may process limited technical information according to their own privacy policies and applicable legal requirements.

Habit Track does not sell your personal information to third parties.

8. Advertising and Tracking

Habit Track does not use the habits you create, your completion history or your progress information for targeted advertising.

We do not sell your habit history or progress information to advertisers or data brokers.

9. Analytics

Habit Track is designed to minimize unnecessary tracking and collection of user information.

If anonymous or aggregated diagnostics are used in future versions of the App, they will be used to understand application performance, reliability and technical issues rather than to build advertising profiles based on your habits.

10. Data Retention

Habit information stored locally on your device remains there until you remove it, reset application data or delete Habit Track.

Information processed by Apple or another applicable service provider may be retained according to that provider's own policies and legal obligations.

11. Deleting Your Data

You can remove individual habits and associated progress information directly from Habit Track where deletion functionality is available.

You may also remove locally stored Habit Track data using available reset functionality or by deleting the App from your device.

12. Children's Privacy

Habit Track is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information through Habit Track, please contact us using the details below.

13. Security

Habit Track uses privacy-conscious design principles intended to reduce unnecessary collection and exposure of user information.

However, no electronic storage system, software application or digital transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

14. International Users

Habit Track may be available to users in multiple countries and regions.

Your use of Apple services or other third-party services may be subject to the privacy practices, terms and legal requirements applicable to those providers.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Habit Track changes, when new functionality is introduced or when legal or platform requirements change.

When this Privacy Policy is updated, the Last updated date displayed at the top of this page will also be updated.
